What we do

We build software for processes that nobody else covers

Companies and whole industries come to us when an important process does not appear in any standard product: when forms are typed up, spreadsheets are reconciled by hand and invoices are pieced together in three steps. We look at how the work actually runs and develop the tool for it.

We are at home in Berlin and work for clients in Germany and the rest of Europe. Most projects run remotely; what matters is not the place, but that we see your real documents.

Why a product of our own

With Levora we have shown how deep we go into an industry

Software for billing in road and civil engineering has to understand GAEB, be able to calculate to REB, know what a call-off from a Rahmenvertrag is, and be able to read what is written on a ticket filled in by a foreman. That is not learned in passing.

We learned it and built Levora from it. For us it is a product. For you it is the evidence of how we work: we do not build a toolkit that is relabelled for every industry, but the tool for one particular job.

No promises without evidence. Where we state a number, its origin is stated with it
No price without analysis. A figure we name before we know your documents would be a guess
No legal, tax or funding advice. We write down what applies and name the source; advising is not ours to do
No bookkeeping. Our software issues invoices; the accounts stay with your tax adviser
No toolkit for everything. We build the tool for your process, not a hundred features of which you need five

Where your data sits

Documents are more than files

A measurement ticket carries names, addresses and an employee’s signature. It is not an arbitrary picture to be uploaded anywhere. That is why Levora is operated in Germany, under a data processing agreement, and the processing routes are chosen so that no content is used to train third-party models.

We bring the same seriousness to client projects: where data is processed and who has access is stated in the quote, not in the small print.

What is dev2soft?

dev2soft is a software company based in Berlin. We build custom software and industry solutions for companies in Germany and across Europe. Levora, our billing software for road and civil engineering contractors, is our first product of our own.

How big is dev2soft?

Small. We say so here because you would notice anyway, and because it also has advantages for you: you speak to the people who build the software, not to the second tier of a call centre. If you need a large organisation with round-the-clock standby, we are not the right vendor.

Where is dev2soft based and who do you work for?

We are based in Berlin; dev2soft was founded in 2024. We work for companies in Germany and the rest of Europe, as a rule remotely.

Do you only develop for the construction industry?

No. We started with road and civil engineering and built Levora for it. Enquiries from other industries and from individual companies are expressly welcome.

What happens to our data and our software if dev2soft one day no longer exists?

That is the right question to ask a small vendor, and it belongs before the contract, not after. Your data is yours. How the handover works in that case is put in writing before you start. Ask every other vendor for the same.

Who writes the guide articles?

We do, not an agency. Whoever worked on an article is named beneath it.

Do you also speak Turkish?

Yes. Conversations and documents are also possible in Turkish. The Levora interface is available in Turkish as well.
