Comparison

mexXsoft or Levora

Both come from the take-off world. The difference is not in the arithmetic but in the cut – and in where the quantity comes from.

Side by side

What the two do differently

Only what could be documented is filled in. “Ask the vendor” means: we found no public statement on this and claim nothing.

Honestly

When mexXsoft is the better choice

If your firm serves several trades and you are looking for a system that covers everything from the painting business to civil engineering, then a broadly positioned trades ERP is the right approach – and Levora the wrong one. We cover one trade, and deliberately so.

On the arithmetic itself we have no reason to fear the comparison, but no reason for arrogance either: mexXsoft even runs free online calculators for REB 23.003. Anyone looking above all for a deep take-off calculation world will find it there.

The difference

The quantity comes from the Zettel, not the keyboard

Every take-off program calculates reliably once someone has entered the values. That entering is exactly the step Levora removes: the handwritten Zettel is photographed, the values are read and put up for confirmation.

Whether that tips the decision for you depends on how many Zettel are typed up each month. At a dozen it is not worth it. At eighty it is.

Frequently asked

Questions about switching

Can we bring our data over from mexXsoft?

Bills of quantities and take-offs can be transferred through the usual exchange formats – GAEB for the bills of quantities, DA11 and X31 for take-off data. What is possible in your specific case we settle on your files before the start, not by promise.

Why does it say “ask the vendor” in some rows?

Because we found no public statement on it. A claim about a competitor without evidence would be not only unfair but attackable under UWG. Ask the vendor – and ask us too.

How much time does the comparison cost?

Less than reading both sides: a bill of quantities, a few Zettel, half an hour per vendor.

Look at both, then decide

We think it is right that you have both shown to you. Bring the same paperwork to both appointments – otherwise it is not a comparison.
