Areas of work

Same chain – different site

Hazard site, framework call-off or sewer trench: the path from the bill of quantities through the Zettel to the invoice is always the same. What differs is the type of contract – and that is exactly where it gets stuck.

Why these pages exist

Construction software knows every trade – except yours

Look for software for your business and you will find pages for electrical, plumbing, roofing, painting and a dozen other trades. For road building and civil engineering, usually nothing. Yet this is the work with the heaviest billing burden: public clients, framework contracts, quantities under REB 23.003, and a piece of evidence behind every single item.

So there is no list of trades here. There are pages about the work we actually know.

Which one is you

How to tell

  • Dozens of small sites a month, a separate Zettel for each → Gefahrenstellenbeseitigung
  • Working call-off by call-off from a yearly contract, billing monthly → framework contracts
  • Road and surface work with quantities under REB → road building
  • Looking for software that actually understands civil engineering → Tiefbau

Common questions

We do several of these. Which page applies?

All of them. These pages describe types of work, not product editions – Levora is one product. Read the page that matches where your business hurts most.

Why are the German terms not translated?

On purpose. Aufmaß, Zettel, Abruf, Leitweg-ID, GAEB, Rahmenvertrag – you will see exactly these words in the tender documents, in the invoicing portal and in the letter from the authority. Translating GAEB into “bill of quantities file” would mean you no longer recognise the file when it arrives. We keep the term and explain it next to it.

Is the software itself in English?

No, the interface is German, because the paperwork it produces is German: the tender, the portal fields and the invoice all are. What the software does take off your hands is the checking – mandatory fields and the Leitweg-ID are verified before the file leaves your machine, so an invoice does not fail because of your German. These pages and our correspondence with you can be in English.

We are not based in Germany. Does Levora make sense?

Only if you invoice German clients. Levora is built around XRechnung, GAEB and REB 23.003 – German standards. For invoicing outside Germany it is the wrong tool, and we would rather say so now than after a contract.

Not sure which page is yours?

Then stop reading. Bring a bill of quantities and a few Zettel – half an hour on your own paperwork settles whether Levora fits.
