RSA 21: the plan the Anordnung requires

No road closure without a verkehrsrechtliche Anordnung, no Anordnung without a Verkehrszeichenplan. Levora assembles the document you apply with.

The order of things

No plan, no permission

To work on a road you need written permission from the authority for the traffic arrangement. The authority will not grant it without seeing a plan showing which sign goes where. That plan has to be based on one of the standard plans in RSA 21.

In a small firm this usually gets drawn from scratch each time on one person’s computer. Levora takes the standard plan, adapts it to the site and assembles the document for the application.

Limits

What it does – and does not do

  • Does: a plan derived from an RSA 21 standard plan and adapted to the site
  • Does: collect the documents for the application in one file
  • Does: keep the plan attached to the job – which site, which date
  • Does not: submit the application for you
  • Does not: issue the Anordnung – that is the authority’s power and no software can take it on

Common questions

Questions about RSA 21

Does Levora file the application with the authority?

No. The document is prepared, you file it. Software claiming to take over an administrative permission process is promising something it cannot keep.

Are the standard plans current?

They follow RSA 21. If the rules change, the plans are updated – and which version a plan is based on is printed on it, so that it is visible in an audit.

Can we upload our own plans?

Yes. If you have an arrangement that works with your authority, there is no reason to disturb it.

Does the plan stay attached to the job?

Yes. Which site and which date it belongs to stays on the record – so that a year later, ‘which plan went with which job’ is not a search.
